What is the Lucky Duck Scavenger Hunt?
Lucky Duck Scavenger Hunt is a free, all-year-round scavenger hunt in Huntsville that lets people get to know downtown Huntsville through a fun-filled activity. The initiative encourages tourism and walking!
It involves 14 brass ducks hidden all over downtown Huntsville, close to all the tourist spots. So, as you're exploring, you can also look for the ducks! People who can find all the 14 hidden ducks will get a prize.
Although the initiative was started years ago with 12 hidden ducks, two new ducks were later added hidden near the Big Spring Park. The scavenger hunt not only encourages people to explore downtown Huntsville, but you also get to walk at least three miles or more looking for these ducks.
Although it's a self-guided event, you will need a clue card to find them all. You can get the clue card from the Huntsville/Madison County Visitor Center, or you can download the clue card and get started on your fun-filled quest! Don't forget the clue card because you'll need it!.
