Hi, I’m John Henson. My wife and I have enjoyed Huntsville’s rich scenery and culture for years. We like its size - big enough to have most anything you want and small enough to allow you to slow down once in a while.

Even though I’ve lived in Huntsville since 1996, and another 11 years in a nearby bedroom town, it took a while for me to realize what a unique place this is! Once I began looking into that more, I became aware that I didn’t know the half of it. So, Move in Like a Local was born! I have a lot of content yet to be published and hopefully this will be a work in progress for a while to come.

I am especially looking for content on Madison. So if you have anything you would like to contribute let me know. It can be an idea, a photo, or whatever. If you write an article that I can use I will give you credit for it.
